Have you ever found yourself asking, "Why did I react that way?" So many of our patterns are rooted in past hurts. They may have helped us cope once, but now they hold us back, shaping how we lead, love, and live more than we realize.
Unfinished Business is not counseling and not a Bible study. It's a careful, Spirit-led group journey for ministry leaders ready to stop managing pain and start healing from it.

Our dysfunctional responses to unmet longings: medicating pain, self-protection, self-provision, and punishing self and others.
How it has been shaped by our family relationships during our formative years.
Blind trust, passive mistrust, aggressive mistrust, and perceptive trust.
The interplay of life situations, dysfunctional behaviours, emotional upheaval, lies, distortions, and wounding.
Identifying and addressing them by the power of the cross, including steps of repentance.
Recognizing our emotions and the role they play, and learning to lament and grieve our losses.
Identifying and renouncing personal false beliefs, becoming grounded in our identity in Christ.

Over 25 years as an ordained minister, trained in formational prayer through Healing Care Ministries. His heart is to see leaders leading from wholeness and deep connection to God.
I was hesitant at first. It didn't jive with my understanding of what it was to be a guy. I couldn't have been more wrong. The skills I learned have helped me become a better dad and husband, and I gained a deeper understanding of issues I'd struggled with for years.
Thrive's Unfinished Business group was a chance to experience deep empathy, healing care, and understanding from God through our leaders and group members. A safe small group such as this for people in ministry is rare and precious.
My experience was truly amazing! I received a newfound freedom as I acknowledged my pain, let go of secrets and burdens, and handed it all to Jesus.
